I want to do a surf doc. Would like to partner with a brand too because I'm living on a firefighter's salary. A bit Torren Martyn-esque..... it would be an endless summer(except I would like to range from tropical to frigid{we can revisit this after I have icicles hanging from my mustache and my hands don't work}) kinda film where I go to all the surf reserves. Id love to write about it and make content. I know you have a connection with Patagonia and wish I woulda stocked up on their gear when they gave me the Patagonia pro deal as a full-time lifeguard. Been to a couple B.W.R.A.G summits and such an amazing time meeting people in the surf community from a foreign place. (OBX is foreign, OK!) And boy do I have a story about that one... Any chance you want a side quest to hit the surf reserves? Or maybe at least help me with Santa Cruz??
That sounds like an epic adventure. You should totally start shooting it. She lays out some great advice on how to make documentaries happen. First step is to just go, go, go!
