Ever since I was a wee grommet, starry-eyed and sunburnt nose, I’ve been involved with an environmental non-profit called Save The Waves. They’re a bulldog of a little group with a singular mission to protect coastal ecosystems around the world. In June, they celebrated their 20-year anniversary along a rural patch of coast north of Santa Cruz.
